Madh Fort Malad, also known as Versova Fort, is a 17th-century fort located in Madh Island, Mumbai, India. The fort is situated on the northern coast of Mumbai, near the Versova beach. Madh Fort It is situated near Madh village. It is around 1 km walk from Madh bus stop. The fort was built by the Portuguese as a watchtower in the 17th century. History of Madh Fort Malad

In 1739, the Portuguese lost control of the fort to the Marathas, who occupied it until 1774. Later, the British East India Company took possession of the fort and used it as a military base.
